Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 2026 • Effective immediately
Our Privacy Commitment in Plain English
When you use LakshaPixel for public format conversions, your images stream directly into volatile server memory (RAM) via encrypted HTTPS. Files are never saved to disk, cloud buckets, or databases, and the memory buffer is immediately purged upon response delivery. We do not inspect, sell, or harvest your media.
1. How Your Files Are Processed
To deliver high-speed, professional-quality conversions for demanding formats (such as AVIF, WebP, and TIFF), processing occurs server-side using native libvips/Sharp C++ image libraries. Unlike client-side canvas engines that compromise on compression ratios and color accuracy, server processing ensures optimal results.
Public conversion buffers exist purely in temporary RAM and are garbage-collected immediately after HTTP transmission finishes.
2. EXIF & Geolocation Metadata Stripping
Digital camera photos frequently embed sensitive personal metadata, including GPS coordinates, device serial numbers, and camera timestamps. By default, LakshaPixel strips all metadata during conversion to protect your privacy and reduce bandwidth. If you explicitly wish to keep this information, you can turn on the "Preserve EXIF & Camera Metadata" toggle in settings.
3. Cookies & Google AdSense Advertising Disclosures
Public informational pages on LakshaPixel (Laksha Group) may display advertisements served by Google AdSense. Google and third-party vendors use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites on the Internet:
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to our site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- Users may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
- Alternatively, users can opt out of third-party vendor cookies for personalized advertising by visiting www.aboutads.info.
- Advertisements are strictly restricted to eligible public pages and are never displayed on authenticated workspace pages, studio resizers, or conversion response streams.
4. Authenticated Account Data & Token Security
When registering for a LakshaPixel workspace, we store your email address and an encrypted password hash (bcrypt with 12 rounds). When you connect social media profiles (e.g., LinkedIn, X, Instagram), authentication tokens are protected with authenticated AES-256-GCM encryption in our database. We never store plain text provider secrets.
5. Contact and Data Inquiries
If you have questions regarding this Privacy Policy or wish to request data deletion for your account, contact our privacy engineering team at privacy@lakshagroup.com.
